Finally got hitched!
After looking and failing to find an OE hitch (for towing small trailers, maybe the occasional car dolly short distances) I have given up and settled for a Curt. CURT Manufacturing - CURT Class 2 Trailer Hitch #12318
Found almost new, on my local Kijiji, for $50CDN, call it $40USD or $25Eur... Better than the $300+ Curt wants! Had one or two little specks of rust, from stone chips... And since I didn't need to use it this week, I scuffed it all, sanded down the rust, and used Rustoleum / Tremclad Rust Reformer (super impressed) followed by Rustoleum oil-based high-gloss black.
Just thought I'd share!

Install was pretty easy, and feels super solid. Hitch came with 6x M12 bolts, lock washers and fender washers. I used blue (semi-permanent) Loctite, for extra safety.
The passenger side has a tie-down bracket, which is removed and discarded. I suppose in the future if anyone needed to tie down the car for towing, they could simply tie to the hitch...
The driver's side is a bit fussier, as the muffler bracket is sandwiched between the chassis and the hitch. You do NOT need to unhook the muffler; but I did, which gave a bit more access.
Here it is with the rear end still jacked up; it sits VERY tight to the bumper skin, which is good IMO.
And one on the ground.
