Hi everyone, I have a 2004 XC70 that the passenger window won't go down or up, it doesnt make any noise or click when I press the up or down button either from the drivers side controls or directly from the passenger's control. Any idea ?

Time or old-school troubleshooting. Get a Haynes manual for the V70 (it will show you how to get door panels and stuff off, in general) unless you have VIDA/DiCE; you will need a multimeter as well (if you don't have then $15.00 only at Walmart or some such); check the motor, wiring and switches. For the motor you are backprobing the connectors to find short to ground. For the wiring you are looking for burnt or broken connections, or breaks under the insulation where the wiring goes thru the door jamb. For the switches, once you have disconnected them backprobe the connectors and see if the switches function. The Haynes will tell you more about how to do electrical checking.
