1992 volvo 940 turbo statrting problem
I have a 1992 940 volvo turbo which has no problem starting in the morning, however, when trying to restart the car after driving for more than 15 minutes, it will not start. I get power, but it just won't start. There is no clicking, which would indicate that it could be a problem with the starter. However, I've changed the starter, changed the battery, checked for loose wires and I am still having the same problem.

Itseems like there is not enough voltage coming from the battery to turn the starter. A friend suggested installing a switch running from the battery directly to the starter. Should I put in the switch, or, do you have any other suggestions?

i wouldnt mess with the battery or the starter unless u really know what ur doing. it could be that ur car doesnt start as easily when it has been running. when my 240 has been driven on a hot summer day, it sometimes doesnt start unless i give it a little gas by pushing on the pedal. try giving it a little gas input on the pedal for a short time and see if it affects how the car starts. if this doesnt work, let me know
