my turbo engages when i go to take off on its own and it makes my car bog down and lose power. also, it is draining my gas mileage bad. does anybody know how to fix it or a direction to point me in?

Ummm you cant turn the turbo off if thats what your trying to get at. As for bogging, check your charge pipes. One might have a tear or might have come lose. That would make you run rich and eat gas.
