Default 03 S60 Mod Questions

I recently aquired an 03 S60 2.4T and would like to do some mods such as exhaust, dry filter intake and a new ECU. Has anyone done any of these mods, specifically the exhaust (how does it sound)? I have found websites such as EVOLVE, IPD, etc to get the parts from. Also has anyone had any experience with the dry filter intakes?

Thanks,

WC

1. Welcome

2. What is your budget?

3. What is your Hp goal?

4. Don't buy EVOLVE. They suck.

Dry filter intake? What do you mean by that? Please explain.

Then stick with an OEM panel filter. Most all aftermarket air filters are oiled. And if your worried about it messing up the
MAF don't be. The only way it will mess it up is if you over oil it when you clean the filter and re-oil it.

$2,000 can buy you some good mods. Also for the downpipe and catback system you could have a local shop fab you a system up and I bet it will be cheaper then the premade systems.

I have found a company Pipercross which makes dry filters which eliminates the chance of over oiling a K&N type filter and messing up the MAF sensor.

Ok I don't know much about PiperCross, just that they exist as a company. Go with them then.
