I want to put a turbo system in my 1990 740GLE they are selling everything I need the turbo intercooler and all the hoses I need for the car for $210, the problem is my car is not a turbo model can this be done will it damage my engine any advise please before I buy this

1. Yes it can be done.
2. Yes it could potentially damage your engine if you do it wrong.
3. These are items you will need...
a. Turbo
b. Intercooler
c. Intercooler hard pipes
d. Turbo hoses
e. Vaccum lines
f. Downpipe
g. Oil or water lines
h. Etc....
Not to mention your going to need a way to control the boost. This is were TUNING comes into play and it is one of the most important things you need to do. A bad tune can ruin the whole thing. So do some research. If not become a member of TurboBricks they can help you out as well.

Thanks for the fast reply my fellow s70driver well I'm takins the parts out of a 1988 740 turbo I don't know if it is the same system wich it uses the 1990 model anyways the vacuum lines and the oil or water lines where i'm going tofind this on the car . What do you think would it be trouble doing this upgrade to my car

Shouldn't be too hard. It would be easier to sell and buy a turbo model. But this is a good start.

I would like to stress, as long as it is done right!!!!!!!! If it is not, your engine is gonna start cussing you out every time you drive.
There is a resistor pack that mounts inside the drivers side fender. It is for the injectors make sure you install it on your car or you will have running problems with the car.
