I have been trying unsuccessfully to install an aftermarket Alpine CD player in my C70 for a while. I have the correct wiring harness, and connected all the wires, and when I put the CD player in everything lights up and works, but there is no sound. Please also note that I have installed A LOT of cd players, and have never ran into this problem.

Someone told me that I have to manually turn on the amp connected to the speakers. IS this right? where would I do that??

Well I know the Amp is in the trunk.If you do not have the Din cable hooked up you will never get any sound out of it.

well how can i hook up the Din cable to my alpine cd player

You will have to do some searching the net.I believe they make an adapter but not sure who makes it.
Someone on this site might know.
