I just recently bought 18x8 rimsfor my S90 and i was wondering if anyone could tell me what size tires i might need? i was thinking 225/40-18 but im not sure any help would be great : )

When I replaced the 16" with 17" wheels on my S60 I went from a 205/55/16 to a 225/45/17, a full 10mm drop. I'm surprised that they only call for a 5mm drop but I'll defer to their expertise.
