Just thought I'd share since it's the best exhaust I've heard on a volvo
I would check out these heart-aching, quad-outlet exhaust too. See attached.

Bet he has no back pressure problems.:)
Rickc10ny 12-17-2007, 08:40 PM I once seriously thought about taking a kerosene salmander heater and installing it in the trunk of my PV544 to make it look like I had a jet engine. I would cut a hole and have the exhaust end of the heater stick out the trunk lid like a jet exhaust. I would also wire up a switch to turn it on so at night it would look like I had an afterburner . yee-haw!
Fortunately I instead installed a IPD header piped into a cherry bomb and thus survived my youth.

S70driver 01-07-2008, 01:56 PM And you could have a local shop fab you a catback system for less then $550.
PANTYEATR 01-07-2008, 07:03 PM if you like that exhaust, wait til i build mine. and it will cost me no more than $300. check for it in the C70 thread.

You probably know this, but for the turbos, you wanta "straight through" type muffler instead of a chambered one. It is better for the turbos.
There is actually a guy locally who does 2.5" for 250 bucks, which is a pretty good deal.
PANTYEATR 01-07-2008, 10:15 PM i'm going with magnaflow since i was digging them before they even got popular.some mandrel bent pipes and maybe a magnaflow cat. i'm gonna build it from the turbo back.
yert315 01-07-2008, 11:53 PM that'll sound real good. im thinking of getting my 3" DP pretty soon for about $200! now that im on this..
can i get the 3" dp and hook it up to my stock pipes?
Then when i go full 2.5 there will be no problems? or will i need an adapter of some sort

if your down pipe is 3" and you wanna go down to 2.5 your gonna create a restriction. the factory turbo is really small and a 2.5" down pipe would be an improvement to that. now if you have a T3/T4 turbo, something bigger or your running 15psi of boost, you will benefit from that 3" DP.
i'm going with 2.5" pipes from the turbo back and i'll be using 3 magnaflow round mufflers to make the sound nice, without that honda dirt bike rasp.
yert315 01-08-2008, 09:39 PM 3 mufflers is quite a bit. I was thinking just doing 2 mufflers- if that.
and yes I will be running close to 15psi once I get my MBC on, so 3" dp it is.maybe full 3"
but im getting the dp first and am wondering if it is interchangable with the stock pipesthen tolarger pipes when I get them
