If anyone is interested how to increase 15hp on C30T5 for $250, here is a good advice:
Buy 69-9000TP K&N INTAKE KIT for04-06 VOLVO S40 2.5 TURBO. It is true that kit is originally designed for S40, but it perfectly fits alsoin C30. Installation takes about 2 hours, and you need only base hand tools. I get the kit today and I already mounted it. Results are:
- Sound is quite the same as standard. (If you want better sound, just put out the standard air filter ("two screws"-no need to buy performance air filter). You will have the best "deep" sound around 3.000 rpm (with no standard air filter).
- Performance is better. You can feel that the engine is much "sharper" and response is really better.
- You can hear air suction and intake. It is really loud especially with lower rpm’s and in highest gear.
- Acceleration is quite faster, and you can feel more power, especially from 100 to 200km/h.
