I have a 240 DL and I have a no start problem. I know it is a no fuel situation. I have jumped out the fuel/ ing relay 30 and 87-2 they are the red and red with yellow to run the pump and the car starts fine. Went and bought a new relay but this did not solve it. Open the relay and tried to start the car only the ing side of the relay closes. Very unhappy and confused . Please help. Thank You Salvatore

So the problem is with the relay, not the fuel system?

First off; Does this relay supply voltage to the fuel pump?

Is the FUEL PUMP running and producing fuel pressure?

Can you spray carburator cleaner into the throttle body and get the engine to run?

another good question... are the spark plugs getting spark? if not trace it back to where it does and replace bad piece.

i would not advise the use of carblceaner inside the throttle body. it is too hard core of a cleaner to use on the sensitive seals and electronics.
