Hats off to all you volvo mechanics,
I have a 95 850 non turbo, automatic trans, the problem I am encountering is it appears the tranny slips in and out of gear, One way I prevent this is to slighly put pressure on the gear selector knob when driving and wait until the tranny warms to temp, Every now and then the arrow on the dash will blink and the trans is in a limp mode until I reset it.
I have accomplished this by tuning off the engine and turning on/off the ignition 5 times until the arrow becomes a solid light not"blinking".
I have read that this may be the gear posion selector, Can you aces help me out?
