My 01 C70 HPT convertible has had a slight steering offset since I bought it used last fall. The wheel is maybe 5 deg or so off horizontal when driving straight ahead. The car runs true hands off, so no concern there.

Apart from it looking a little odd, it means that the turn signal cancels late off left turns.

I've dealt with this issue before on less complex machines, but I thought I'd check for advice before I attack this problem as I still have not got a service manual / DVD.

Pretty much the only way to get it straight is to have an alignment done to straighten the wheel.
