anybody hear of problems with the leather seating surfaces? if so, what cleaners or maintenance should we consider.

I would apply leather-care liquid (I used Armour-All brand), wait for a specified period to let the material soak in, then wipe off with a dry cloth. This cleans & softens the leather. I would do this once every 6 months or so. The driver's seat has more tendency to crack,probably due to weight, moisture & the sunlight.
