Just had the check engine light come on
Have K&N filter
Did wipe clean the face before inserting
Tried to turn off car then turn on
No luck yet
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Only thing to do is get the codes pulled. Way to many things it can be.

I have 3000 miles on the K&N Filter. Recently went on vacation and put 1000 miles on the car with the K&N and got 30.16 MPG on the highway (real happy about that). Today the check engine came on. I have premium in the tank and checked the fuel filler cap to make sure it was tight. I removed the key and restarted twice. No change in the light.
Any ideas?
You need to have the codes pulled the code is stored keeping the light on.
If the fault is gone now then it might reset after a while.
