Default Radio surround

Hi this is my first post, so hello.
I have recently bought a second hand V50, which I love, but is has a horrible rattle from a car phone kit. To get to this I need to remove the centre console and I believe I need to remove the radio surround to access screws to do this.
I believe the surround will clip on, but some gentle prodding and nothing has moved so I don't want to lever too hard in case I break it. Can anyone tell me the correct thing to do, and even if I need to remove the cover to remove the console.
I have the lower screws out by the way, they were easy.

Default RE: Radio surround

Welcome to the forum.

This is the instruction from VADIS for the 2005 model.

When you have removed the infotainment control module (who thinks up these names?) you will see two screws at the bottom of the hole.

To remove the cigarette lighter assembly/electrical socket front just prise it up at the two front corners, preferably with a weatherstrip tool or a piece of plastic which won't scratch the surround.
