I bought a newS60 two weeks ago, in two weeks theS60 failed 3 times. The failure is the same (3 times) and the dealer does not know the origin of the failure. The dealer reviewed it and alsorecharged the programs in the computer, but it failed again.</P>


Failure: When the car is locked I tried to unlocked using the remote control (key) but it did not work. I open the car with the key, get in the car and I tried to open and close the latches with the door control but it did not work ( I listen some noise but nothing works). I tried again with the remote control (key) and it did not work. When Iturn onthe engine and turn off the engine the remote control (key) works again in thiat moment is possible to lock and unlock the car, and also is possible to use the door control.... but when I turn on the engine again a message is shown " Airbag needs to be reviewed urgent".... also, the clock was delayed, the first time the delay was about35 minutes, the second time 2 hours 45 minutes more orless, the third time 10 minutes aprox. I think that the computer hung itself during this time.</P>


Somebody knows what could be happening and can help me?</P>

all i can think of is the computer. there could be a faulty computer installed and u might need to get it replaced. ask your dealer/mechanic if you could try a new computer for awhile and see if this persist. the s60, since u say u just bought it should be under warrenty so u shouldnt have to worry about paying lots of money

I dont mean to sound liek a smartass, but could it possible be the battery? Just throwing that out there as a very serious suggestion.

Did they give you a print out of codes the car had?

Everytime i went for a SRS-airbag problem everytime it was a Seatbelt and/or a SRS module- happened to me 3 times- ....that was in my s80...
