I just purchased a XC90 from my father recently and I need to clean it. If you have an ideas of solution to my list of tasks, please let me know. i asked a car wash that details cars and they said they don't detail what I need done

1. Some of the leather seats are discolored. Possibly from cigar smoke??
2. Steering wheel and shifter are fithy. Thinking of using vinegar
3. The cloth on the windshield frame, ceiling and visors are dirty in many spots. I was thinking of using Dry cleaning fluid. the car wash told me they don't clean that part because it can get too wet during cleaning and sag! something i don't buy really. i figure Dry cleaning fluid applied to a cloth wouldn't saturate the material that much.
4. rid the car of faint cigar smell

any help would be much appreciated

Simple Green diluted with water and a scrub brush will make it new again, then apply a protectant when dry.

Is it possible that you could do better leasing a 2009? I stopped at Volvoville in Massapequa New York yesterday and saw a 2008 in the showroom which was very deeply discounted, but the salesman told me that the Costco program and the lease deals only applied to the 2009 model. Also it's hard to comment on your deal without knowing the msrp of the car you're looking at as well as the price that you negotiated.
