has anyone had to replace the serpentine belt on their 960. Mine has 250k miles on it and I am trying to get a ball park of the what it cost at the dealership.</P>

We have 2 Volvo Cars (740 Turbo & 960), and I have been driving them since 1983. I never take my car to dealerships for routing repair. Only for Factory Warrenty ones.
After two or three bad experiences with them, I have found that, Volvo dealers (at least in my part of the world in Silicon Valley CA) most often charge you twice as much as other Volvo mechanics do, and their quality of wormenship in not better then independent mechanics.
My recomendation to you, find an auto mechanic in your area which specializes in Volvo Cars. You will get a better deal them, then at dealership.

What about Genuine parts you ask?, these guys buys them from the dealer at wholesale prices and sell them to you at the same price as you get from the dealer.
