Somthngfrce 06-02-2009, 03:45 PM I use this http://www.turtlewax.com/main.taf?p=2,1,3,4 on my dash and plastic trim because it has uva/uvb sun protection and down here in Florida the sun can fade and dry most of the plastics. For leather, I ONLY use this cleaner http://www.bickmore.com/bickmore/Leather%20Care/Bick1.html and conditioner http://www.bickmore.com/bickmore/Leather%20Care/Bick4.html. My 850 had super dry leather and used this and it looks almost brand new. Somthngfrce 06-02-2009, 03:46 PM You can also use neatsfoot oil to condition the leather. 99ncxj 06-02-2009, 04:16 PM Thanks, i'll look into those. My XC came from florida so the leather is a little dry but not too bad. I'm wanting to bring it back to life. It has tinted front windows (aftermarket) so i guess that has saved it for the most part. What about wash/wax options for the exterior? its a Black car so i'm a little worried about using the wrong thing. TIPSP 06-02-2009, 06:50 PM Lexol is also some good cleaner/conditioner.... ZANOS is great. there are some other good ones. Also look into a claybar kit to really make the outside shine. Somthngfrce 06-02-2009, 07:06 PM Lexol is also some good cleaner/conditioner.... The only thing I dont like IMO about Lexol is that is water based so it tends to dry out faster than an oil based conditioner, but it is still good stuff! |
