I using a 2003 XC70 temporarily and there is no manual. When I press the cruise button and take my foot off the gas the speed just drops. What am I doing wrong?

You turn it on by pressing the buttom once.The word Cruise will appear I think in the milage screen or somewhere close when it is on. Red XC 11-02-2005, 01:45 AM Oh I've used it many times. Have the car at a certain speed like 60mph (CC only works speeds above 25mph) Push the Cruise button on steering wheel When the light "cruise" turns on the cluster Push the "+" button and hold it for a few seconds, let it go, it should set the speed To stop cruise control, you can brake, push the O/ zero button To resume cruise control at same set speed, please the half circle button, the XC should accelerate to the set speed (this only when cruise control light is still on) To reduce and gain speed: + and - hope this helps!
