So I have had my current and only Xbox 360 now for four years! Pretty awesome when you think about it. Anyways...

Once I got COD6 MW2 it started to fritz out on me. It would freeze on screen and then I'd restart and it would do the same. Finally got it to work and it was working fine for a week.

Then I had it working two days ago didn't play for a day and today got the dreaded ROD.

I guess the reason for this thread is this. Is it worth sending it back to Xbox? Will they fix it or will they send another unit back to me? if they send another unit will it be brand new or refurbished or used? If it is used or refurbished I am not interested in sending mine back.

I will just get an Xbox 360 ELITE and be done with it.

 

Or you could get a PS3!

 

I have PS3 already and a Nintendo Wii. I just need to replace my 360. My PS3 is for Blu-rays basically. I don't game on it ever. The only game I may get for it is the 2010 release of Gran Turismo.

 

I did it once and I looked at the disk and it was fine. I have no clue how it happened.Im getting a new COD4 disk though.do you have xbox live and a gamertag?

 

No red rings? Turn around time for the xbox repair for me was extremely quick. about a week and a half.
