volvo v70 2001,6 speaker head unit unable to get good sound.
cd and radio seem to be muffeled,changed speakers with no effect,changed to after market sony (temp) sounds good,however i am told that to install this unit or any other i cannot get a lead to attach steering wheel controls and i also need the computer reprogramed,is this correct as volvo are not forth cumming with info

I don't think anyone makes the adaptor for the steering controls yet.

Yes you will have to have the factory radio software removed.
