wife's 960 has an intermittent A/C problem. Seems to work fine at highway speeds but at slower speeds or traffic stops blowing cold air. If you turn it off for awhile it will owrk again for a short period. Garage man said it was showing no codes andFreon was full. He could not fine the problem. I tried running the fan on high and not recirculating air but didn't seem to help. Ifit is icing up how would Istop it. Help

I have the same problem with the cooling system. Also the Heater (in the winter) comes on only when I set it to Maximum heat, and then lower it to 72 F. I suspect it is the controller which needs to be adjusted.

I would check the ac control panel if it has the off button on it I would recommend replacing it with the controll panel with the snow flake on it new style.

Any suggestion where the Control Panel is located at, and how to adjust it?<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0"> <edited><editID>TheVolvoMan</editID><editDate>37921.7271759259</editDate></edited>

Never mind. It just needed A/C recharge. A kit can be bought (around $35) in Auto Parts store, which has everthing for do-it-yourself.
