OK, Here's the thing.
I am less than used to owning Euro cars, all of my others have been Australian, English (sort of euro I know) and most have been pre 90s. Hence I am not sure what the shiftlock override does in my automatic Volvo S70 (I'm also used to manuals).
If someone could please explain in simple language on its uses, where and when it would be useful and just exactly how do I use it... I would be most pleased.
I am guessing - and this might show me up, but just to prove I tried to read the manual, it is something to do with the 'free wheeling' when you release the accelerator?
Ok - If you can answer that - Then maybe you can also tell me does any old security code fit into the radio or is it car or radio specific? I guess the battery cables were removed during the cars' transit and the radio codes are nowhere to be found. I would really like to avoid removing the radio, so is there any other way...
Well, I guess there is plenty for you to answer - thanks!
