how difficult is it to take the door panel apart and put it back together? i have the fastereners that are missing so the ride squeeks.... any suggestions... im am a little mechanically inclined.. is this mechanic worthy or should i take a shot at it.... please tell me of any hitches... (by the way it should be the same as the s and v70 right?)

It is not the same at all as the S70. If you look good you should be able to find all the screws that need to be removed.

tech, I've just got a 240(1991) yesterday. I tried to remove my door panels this afternoon because the door speakers were dangling. I took out all the screws and the bottom tray. But the panel just wouldn't pop out. The top extension of the door handle was still attached to the door ( I am pretty sure I took out all the screws). I had to put everything back before I break anything.

Is the Arm Rest off?
Did you remove the inner door handle trim ring?
