I have an 87 740 GLE and the reverse lights are not working. I've checked fuses with no avail. Where is the reverse light located?
Has anyone else had this problem? What was your fix?
Thanks!

Devon,
I would take the bulbs out of their sockets in the rear, then use sharp knife and scrape off the lead on the bulbs, to make sure you have good contacts. In case you have not done so, under the cigarett lighter, you need to pool the fuse panel out, where you will see the the diagram for each fuse.
good luck

Thank you for your response.
We have checked the fuses and everything fine. The bulbs are brand new.

You didnt say if car is auto or manu, but usally there is a switch located in shift linkage. try jiggling shifter in reverse area with someone watching lights, may be bad switch or needs adj of linkage.
