I have a 1998 non turbo V70. When I bought it I could not afford the turbo model so I am curious now of the complexity of adding a turbo? Or a better way to get more HP from these little 5cyl.

It will probably be a pain in the butt.You will have to get the turbo,exhaust manifold,intercooler,Engine computer for turbo, wiring harness, Etc
You can try pricing at a couple of import speed shops they might have a better way to get it done for cheaper.

By the way congrats on buying a 98 it will save you a lot of trouble.99 and up went to electronic throttle systems which are more of a pain.

Interesting, I didn't know that about '99s.

I bought it from a 1 owner little old lady that had everything done at the dealer including getting air in her tires.

iPD is local here in portland, so I'll probably cruise down there.
