Looks good. Now build a top for that cone filter and or put a rubber surround around the top so that it seals a little better when the hood is closed. The rubber surround like they have on the 850's and 70 series intake kits.

From the EST intake for the 850

Notice how there is like weather stripping around the top. It seals it off better when the hood is closed.

Notice in yours, yours doesn't have it. Unless it came with it and you just didn't put it on.

no it didnt come with it, i am planning on sealing it off with some reflectix (aluminum insulation)....something to better keep the heat out....never thought of that rubber idea....i will look into that.....thx alot

i am changing my set up a little andres. I am doing the reflectix around the side and then the rubber around the top... think that will be the best set up

Maybe go to a HOME Depot or LOWES and buy some weather stripping some thick stuff possibly.

Also call EST or e-mail then and ask if they will send some from their other kits they sell.

Half of that would just take time and Less than $100.00 to do.

Most of it is just Polishing.
Sand paper and Mothers Mag and aliminum polish.
Maybe a paint stripper as well.
Then some Long time doing it.
