Hello, can anyone explain me the difference between the Bosh engine management systems for the B230F motors?
What is the diference between the 85-88 - LH2.2, the 89-93 - LH2.4 and the 91-95 - LH3.1 systems?
I've heard that the LH2.4 is the Regina and there is other that is the Rexx/Regina, but that is all I know about them.
Any info would be appreciated, thanks!!
The Bosch systems just got upgraded as time went along.
2.2 2.4 3.1 The systems had more added to them as time went on.
The Regina/Rex system is Regina(Ignition) Rex(fuel system) They were an all together Odd system.
They work pretty good but are a Pain to work on and they have alot of Brain Farts.
It will run like Crap for no reason at all. Never set codes or anything. Pretty much the Black Sheep of the ignition system.

Ok... but... how do I identify which system I have?
If yours is Turbo then you have the Bosch. But I will have to try to find out how to tell exactly which one other than that.
Regina is only on Non-turbo cars.
But to also answer your quiestion how to tell the Difference.
Regina/Rex = Square coil
Bosch = Round coil.

Thanks for the answer.
Now.... sorry my first language isn't English so I may not know the meaning of it in, but.... what is the coil and where is it located? Maybe I know what it is, but in Spanish.
Sorry for the inconvienience.
The Wire from the Distributer to the Distributer cap.
There is the wires that go to the Spark plugs. Then they go back to the cap. There is a wire from the cap that doesn't run to the spark plugs where that wire goes is the coil.

Sorry can't find a pic of a Regina coil but it is square.
