Covered all electrical stuff with either a grocery bag, or some plastic wrap.
Hosed down the engine bay with a light mist from the hose.
Then I soaked everything with Simple Green (full strength!).
Hosed down everything and dried.
After that I removed the spark plug cover and dried under there....water collected there a bunch.
I used Armorol on all the hoses and plastic areas.

Good job!

Simple green is good stuff! I like using Gunk for when there is a lot of caked on mess (Like from my old VW!)

 G'Day Justin.

Your engine looks cool. [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Would you share with us the name of the stuff you used to clean it and give it the glossy finish please? [sm=type.gif]

Here's waiting to hear from you mate. [8D]

Yes please do tell us.

However I know it probably took a few hours and some hand scrubbing.

Very nice. I need to one day detail the car in and out. That is if i can fix the stalling problem.
