I live in Michigan and we had a pretty good snow, 3-4 inches. So I was out driving around, being the only one of my friends with an AWD car, and I thought the car was bumping a little weird. I turned into a parking lot, hit an ice patch, and hit a curb pretty damn hard. I drove it home and it favored it's right side heavily, which I knew was bad. I assumed the axle was just bent, but I brought it to a dealership and they said there was $1600 worth of damage. I'm at school now, but I'll let you know what they said was wrong. :( I remember some of it like the 'backing plate', something like inner and outer ties, and a lot of other stuff was bent. They also have to re-align most of the wheels!
I was suspended Monday-Thursday at my school for something else, so I worked 13 hour days and made the money back as an electrical engineer. It's my dad's company so he let me.
I'm really sad because I don't have a car to drive for like a week and a half.
