ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX A SQUEAKY BACKSEAT? IT'S THE PASSENGER SIDE..SOUNDS LIKE IT'S COMING FROM THE BRACKET THAT LOCKS THE SEAT IN PLACE AFTER PUTTING YOUR SEATS BACK UP. IT'S JUST VERY ANNOYING! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Alot of times the clips on the rear inside panel will brake and make the squeeking noise.Have someone sit in the back and put pressure on teh panel while you drive and see if it helps.

YES, WHEN SOMEONE IS SITTING ON THE SEAT WITH PRESSURE IT WILL GO AWAY. HOW DO I MAKE THE NOISE GO AWAY PERMANENTLY? IS THERE A FIX?

What we used to do when I worked at the dealer ship was remove the panel and install felt tape where the panel would meet the body. You can also replace the clips if any are broke.

SO WHERE I NEED TO GET INTO IS THE INSIDES OF THE SEAT PANEL? HOW MAY I GO ABOUT THAT?IS IT ON THE INSIDE WHERE YOU BACK GOES? I'LL FIGURE IT OUT IF IT'S THE INSIDES OF THE SEAT BUT ANY HELP NOW WILL HELP. THANKS!

When does the noise go away when someone sits in the seat or when the lean on the side panel?
Most of the time it is the side panel by the rear most window in the cargo area.

I REALLY DON'T THINK IT'S BACK IN THE CARGO AREA... THE PERSON WHO SAT BACK THERE SAID THE NOISE GOES AWAY WHEN LEANED INTO THE SEAT, NOT THE SIDE PANEL.

Then you are going to have to try trial and error. To try to find out where it is coming from listen for it then stick something in there to shim it to try to make the noise go away. The cover on the end of the seat removes with a couple of t-25 torxes screws. You can try to remove the cover and see what happens.
