So, ive been thinking about installing an aftermarket HU in my 02 v70 t5. I know what i want (practically the same radio that me Trans Am has in it right now, its nothing high tech but its an awesome radio), i love that radio since its a JVC KD-S79BT, it has all the pre-outs i need and also a front AND rear Ipod connection (i actually used the rear connector and ran it to my ash tray to create a hidden Ipod dock, i dont smoke so that was a place to put it). With all this being said, ive been reading that i might have to uninstall some software that runs the radio itself, in order to make the aftermarket HU work in my v70, now...i could be wrong, i could have read it wrong for sure, but is this all true?? If its not, id be glad im not right haha
