V70 Ignition Switch

The ignition switch on my 2004 Volvo V70 will not turn past the I mark and I can not start the car. Does anyone know what may be causing that?

Usually that is a bad ignition switch assembly. The hard parts not the electrical part.
You can try lubbing in the hole. But that is usually only a temp fix if it works.
It would be best to replace it.
