Engine issue???
I have a 2000 S-70 with 134K miles. I'm having an engine issue that I'm trying to track it down. Last week the car was running fine and did not over heat. WHen I pulled off of the interstate the car started supttering then once I turned it off it will not start. The raditor water bottle was empty and no matter how much water I put into it - it disappars. While trying to get it started the water in the rator bottle bubbles up and out as the engine turns over. Playing around and pumping the accelorator I finnally got it started but it will not stay running with out the RPMs being over 1000 and the water still continues to disapear. I checked the dipstick and see that it is starting to look milky, which I'm thinking that water is getting into the engine. Any thoughts as to what it might be or is it worth fixing?
Thanks

Yes, but my ideas need to be checked by somebody who knows what they are doing.
ChoiceA; blown head gasket.
Choice B: cracked engine block.
Both can make coolant go bye bye into crankcase and elsewhere.
You probably want choice A. Choice B requires an expensive rebuild or engine swap. Choice A ain't exactly free, but its a whole lot cheaper. Assuming all that needs doing is the head gasket.
Have you run it in Park/Neutral and looked under the car to see what's coming out where, if anything?
