V40 running rich, crap gas mileage and unburnt fuel smell from exhaust
At first it had a P0015 so I pulled the reset valve and cleaned it up a little. Put it back on, cleared the code and it hasnt returned in 100 miles.
then a MAF code came up and I saw that it had no voltage...so I replaced it with a known working one, cleared the code and code hasnt returned but grey smoke and rich condition still exists.
cleaned the IACV and throttle body as best as I could. still rich.
Live data shows my O2 sensors are within the range they should be with the upstream bouncing up and down rapidly and the downstream holding steady at .650 - .750. wiped them down and put them back in and still rich.
There are no codes in the module but It's definitely running rich still.
anybody ever deal with this type of thing?
Thank you.

V40 too rich, crappy mileage and exhaust smell.
I have a 2002 v40, experiencing the same symptoms described, the weather has prevented me from tackling any job yet, but looking at running seafoam, ATF or Marvel Mystery, through the oil before an oil change to cleanse the sludge as per other threads on the issue.
I am also getting a P0 2128 coolant/thermostat; I am looking to replace sensor and thermostat, and P0172 too rich. I'll let you know what I find if anything.
