i'm having some of the same problems with my 88 240 DL. it stalls periodically, like one day here than 2 or 3 days it's ok then it stalls 3 or 4 times in one day. it's fuel as I can spray starter fluid in and it will start right up. I don't know if it's the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump relay or fuel pump it'self. It doesn't really have anything to do with heat. i can let it idle in my driveway for a couple hours without stalling or drive on highway at 75 for 30 mins. or so it's driving me crazy. i love the car but this is killing me to stall unexpectedly. your thoughts?
