    I have a question about the fuel system on my 2005 xc70.
    I replaced a cracked fuel pump ring, and now it won't start. Before it started with no problems. Do I have to repressurize or bleed the system ?

    Hey ES6T. Would greatly appreciate your input on a timing belt question. I totaled my '02 S60 this week and found a potential replacement 2006 with 97K that has not had the TB changed. In your opinion do I need to concern myself with a time element since it is 10 years old, or still just go by miles? Greatly appreciate your input!

    hi es6t.....on some post yesterday you mentioned some engines being more reliable than others....made me curious about my 2000 v40, I bought new and have had zero problems...could you look up my engine code and let me know if it happens to be one of the more reliable units? thanks in advance...vid#yv1vw2555yf583169

    Hey, sorry to bother you through here. Anything you recommend I do before replacing my car's front O2 sensor (2002 S60)? Cleaning the MAF, running seafoam evenly through gas/crank/vacuum, checking the vacuum lines and proper fuses, etc. then clearing the CEL and seeing if performance changes and if the CEL comes back?

    The CEL has been turning on and off lately. I figure I could hold on to the sensor and return it if it turns out it's something else since it can sometimes be another part's/system's fault. Or is it safe to assume it's definitely the sensor?

    The first day I drove the car after like 20 minutes it stopped accelerating at all. I parked at a local Advance using the momentum I had left and when I opened the hood the engine seemed to be hesitating and harshly shaking. After waiting a few minutes I drove off fine and never had the problem since. I've driven over 1.2k miles without that happening again. The CEL never came on when that incident happened.
