Buying my first car, a 2006 Volvo S60.
Buying my first car in the coming week and just wanted to know if these cars will give me any trouble. Are there similar models within a few years that are notorious for having issues?
I live in New Hampshire, so the AWD model is somewhat of a necessity for me. The S60 also fits most of the other requirements that I have, however, from what I've read there are not too many issues. Am I mistaking, is there something I should be looking out for in buying this car? Is ~$4,500 from a dealer a reasonable deal in the north east area?
Sincerely,
Volvo Noob

I would only buy it from a Volvo dealer or a Volvo owner -someone that cared for the car and maintained it in the dealer. If the car was not taken care of, it will be a money pit.
Keep in mind that these vehicles can be expensive to maintain since they don't age well. You will likely have to replace the alarm siren -or get the dealer to do a software update, since the car is more than 10 years of age. That's just an example.
