Hello from Minnesota
Hello all!
I purchaced a 2004 volvo s60 with 125xxx miles on it recently. My last car was a 2005 Ford Mustang which was not family friendly. I am a single father and my son loves this car. I have heard volvos last forever so I did not mind the millage. I have all service records for the car from the dealer and It looks like they did all the reccomended service on it so I should be good to go. I hope to hang out here when ever I get a chance.
thanks

RE: Hello from Minnesota
Welcome to the forum, I hope we can be of some help in keeping your Volvo for a long time. Yes, Volvos last a long time, even longer than Japanese cars, if treated right.
Make sure to follow scheduled maintenance, especially the timing belt + its pulleys + tensioner. Also note that brake fluid & engine coolant (antifreeze) are neglected way to often.
Good luck to you & your son, and be sure to post technical questions in the S60 forum.
Best wishes,
JPN
