Never owned a Volvo until now, and now...
Hello.
Yes, I finally bought a Volvo. In 1990 I tried to buy an 86 240 wagon but the dealer wanted too much and so I settled on a Pontiac. I've always liked Volvo's but the right one never came along until this summer. I was in the market for a newer used car for my wife, while scanning through Craigslist I came across a nice looking 98 S70. I made an offer and after the guy turning the offer down and giving me a counter offer I said thanks but no thanks. Two hours later he calls back and said okay to my offer. Now It's three months later and I'm over at my friend's shop, (my friend owns a Volvo shop) he shows me a nice 1994 940 turbo with less than a 100k miles that is in great shape. I go home not thinking too much about it but I tell my wife and she, of all people, says you should get it! Two days later I now own two Volvo's. Thing is, I'd still like to have a 240 wagon. Guess I'll just keep looking for just the right one.
Anyway, I thought I should join a forum to educate myself on my new wheels and to connect with other Volvo lovers.
