*have the opportunity to purchase a 95 850 2.4 sedan with 55000 original miles on it. It has had two owners, older gentlemen who took exceptional care of it. The carfax is clean and the maintenance is right on. I know its coming up on a timing belt, serp and h20 pump and spark plugs. There is no rust on the vehicle and no major damage to the exterior. Just wear and tear. He is asking $3600 and is flexible on price. Low end repairs im estimating about 300 if I do it myself. Upwards of 2k if I go to the dealer. This will be used as a secondary short commuter. Do you guys reccomend I make an offer and do you think coming in at 2000 to start is to low? Any advice tips or input would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
