My heart never left the States

My heart never left the States
Dear All,
I have spent...
- A month in CA.
- A year in St. Joseph, MI.
- A year in Winchendon, MA.
- 5.5 years in Vermont.
- 3 years in Southern IL.
- A year in Chicago (still IL).
I consider New England region as my true homeland. I miss all my friends there, especially now that I am stuck in Japan[8D]. BTW, if you live in VT, watch your speed when you drive through the town of Woodstock & Ludlow. You drive 5 mph over the posted limit, and you will be donating a hefty $$$ for the towns. Trust me on this, and follow the posted speed limits strictly until you are safe distance away from those towns[8D].

RE: My heart never left the States
New England is definitely where I'm most familiar with (~16 years in CT) and DC is where I like to visit most (~3-4 years there); Hawaii is where I'd like to be able to visit (~2 years there), but I feel like the south is more fitting for me (~2 years and counting).
