First post! Proud new owner of a AQ120b.

Just got a project boat that was sitting for a few years. It is missing the distributor as someone was working on it previously and it got separated.

I'm looking to pick up a used one off of ebay, but there are none available for the aq120. Most part numbers seem to be the same across aq125 131 140 etc.

Would a distributor from models above be compatible with this motor?

Also, would a car distributor with vacuum advance be compatible if I plugged the hole, or does it need a separate advance mechanism the vacuum one is lacking?? (I know I know, safety issues)

One last question , there is a "drip catcher" attached to the carb. Should anything be covering that?
