Default Volvo Penta

Boat ran great! Had it winterized by a pro. This spring charged and reinstalled battery and turn key a couple of groans, then nothing but a single click with each turn of the key. Replaced battery, cleaned terminals...............click, click.

Did you ever find your problem? My boat is sounding like same problem as yours. Let me know if you find a solution.
Thanks

I did. New starter. The mechanic stated that if a little moisture gets in there and it sits, over the winter, they have a tendency to rust up and sieze. I said, "nice design"! Usually happens in the spring.

He sold me a new one, it's guaranteed for life, for $350 installed.

I'm a Merc Kid at heart.. on account of that is all I've ever had, and my brother's into the Fast Go scene..

I'd be open to Volvo's, but would need to do a sea trial first naturally. As for problems, I've seen what Best Acne Care Product Skin Treatment Acne Borderline Herbs Whipple Brittle for Diabetes a1c Diabetic Diet Soda Food Pyramidappears to be just as many Volvo issues if not more than Merc on the forums.. maybe that's cause there are more Volvos out there?? When it does come time to repair,
Durham Medspa I think the Merc repairs would be less costly than the Volvo repairs... (IMO)
