Black interior ( changed out the beige and chocolate dash ) carpet, door panels, all trim seat belts changed 2000 mechanism but 1999 volvo belt material. 2000 seats covered with new leather seat skins. 2000 air bags still in seats added heat to drivers seat. Dash was glued with ABS cement so it would not self-destruct or squeak. When I did the black interior I got the A pillar covers and the new grey dome light cover and was gonna change the headliner to the grey but never bothered me enough to finish it.
black grille added de-badged then re-badged with black plasti-dip, ABM corner lights with orange bulbs, lowering springs, tinted back windows. Interior rear seats are from a 1998 with the cloth insets.
new battery cables just did this.

Badd:

ABS light is on. It goes off and the ABS works when light is off. The modules are available rebuilt.
SRS light would be on if PO had not removed it. I never put it back. It had two codes the dash airbag and the passenger seat. I never bothered with it. I changed the dash when the interior was changed to black.
Front and rear bumpers need painted if you want a perfect car.
Speedometer will turn off and you loose Odometer and trip do as well they it pops back on. I have read that the ABS controller might fix this too.
The trunk struts are tired. Horn is disconnected it would honk sometimes when you turned the wheel. There is a contact ring that needs to be changed in the wheel.
Headliner is starting to come unglued at the windshield just to the visors.

Black on the outside, light beige interior in project phase (missing headliner and the front leather seats need reskinned). I'll grab some pics, but she is one fun car indeed A lot of work went into her, lots of IPD goodies. And I'm getting ready to do silicone boost hoses, rebuilding from steering/suspension (tie rods, etc), and new stainless steel braided brake lines to name a few things..

I see you are in Philly area, I'm from up in the 610 (berks co) but I'm working out in western PA right now. I usually get down there about once a month to Kutztown/Allentown area, maybe we can get together? I'd love to see the C70

I also have an 03 Mazda Protege5 5spd I'd consider partial trading (Mazda+cash on my end) for if its something you might be interested (just throwing it out there lol). They handle like a go cart

automatic unfortunately, like most 850s Partly why I am interested in the c70, I miss my clutch pedal lol. Considered a 5 speed swap, just don't have the resources or the time/cash to do it.

I should note that it is a rolling project/daily driver. The interior is rough and some assembly is required (headliner is missing, seat leather is worn on front seats, carpet is gone...little stuff that can be found in the u-pull-it yards), so it's by no means a perfect car. Runs solid though and has had a lot of upgrades (with more in the works within the next week or so)...

I'm pretty familiar with the Levittown/Bristol area, maybe we could meet up around there somewhere? Theres a couple U-Pull-It yards I'd like to hit up while I'm down there (junkyard barbie over in Morrisville, Crescent up the road, Nicks in Bristol, etc) and an awesome little pizza place right off New Falls called Pizza Star. We could grab lunch and make a yard day out of it if you are interested...

 

Like auto magic will make wifey happier. The stage three scares me. How far from stage 0 is it? I really want to make a rat wagon. I ready to Rust paint the plastic on the c70 because I love the car just not the way it looks. Not a huge fan of black. Interior bits I can handle.Got extra bits at home...

I won't be back in the area for another couple weeks, planning a trip down to Kutztown around 5/24-5/26. We could probably meet up around then. Depending on how I feel about the C70, maybe we can work something out. Kinda up in the air honestly, I do love this wagon and am kinda looking forward to working on it Just ordered a bunch of new parts and am planning to rebuild the cooling system as well as a few other upgrades/repairs... But honestly never hurts to keep options open Check out my build thread in the 850 forum here on the board, dubbed this car Project WanderWagen Reborn. I'll be posting pics up in the next few days here once the weather clears up a bit and I get some time away from work to do some real "work" on the wagon lol

Stage 3 is a remap of the ecu. Supposedly brings the power up to about 90 hp and 95 ft lbs of torque over factory T5-R specs. Factory numbers on my car was/is originally around 225 hp/221 ft lb torque in 850T form due to the smaller 15T turbo. The 850 T5-R came with the 16T (which is what my car was upgraded/cloned to be) and put out 243 hp/250 torque. I will say this much, she has a lot of spit or get If I put it in sport mode on the autobox and floor it, she'll bounce off the rev limiter thru 3 gears before catching any traction in the front wheels, and then its out of the hole like a bat outta hell. Definitely not your granddads station wagon LOL
