Default Tailgate trim panel loose?

This is what you will need to buy and install.

I usually don't like scantech and say stay away from them but this kit is really good.
Can be purchased from here.

Default RE: Tailgate trim panel loose?

I used a cheaper fix that I read from a post somewhere else. Go to your local big-box home center and head over to the hardware section. Ask the counter person to help you find rubber grommets. I can't remember the size I used...1/4" hole size I think. Get as many grommets as you need to repair the broken tailgate clip holes. Squeeze the grommets into the holes on your tailgate. Use your existing clips and gently, but firmly, press the clips so that they are held in place by the grommets. The grommets should hold the clips and stay put in the tailgate hole. Problem solved for less than $3! (worked for me!)
