Default k&n airfilter for 2002 s40

thinking of getting a k&n airfilter for 2002 s40

anyone use this on the s40 and thoughts on it,,did it hekp get better milage?

definitely go with it...the other option is a ram air intake...with the ram air your not going to see much as far as performance so i recommend the panel filter.

Make sure you keep it clean and DON'T over oil it. I use them in all my vehicles.

The K & N filter is designed to be used, cleaned and then a special oil (comes with the filter) is then put on the filter to help it trap particles. You can also buy the oil separately.

just placed my order for the filter, was not in stock, but expensive at 45 dollars

You are getting more air into the engine so it might sound a bit different, but not alot.

you will actually hear the turbo spooling a little but make sure that your airbox is on there as it should be, you wouldnt want any leaks coming into your airbox...
