Default 2005 S40 T5 CV Shaft Replacement Question?

The boot tore on my CV shaft so I am going to just replace the whole shaft. When I am changing the shaft will transmission fluid leak out? Also if it does how do I put more in because it is no serviceable? Any help would be great!
